4. Maryland: Baltimore councilman proposed gay marriage ban–>bill didn’t make it out of the subcommittee
5. Hardball: peter Sprig says to “Export gays”
6. Lucas Silveira: Transman singer of group “The Cliks” wins “Sexiest Man in Canada award”

Welcome to Queer Action!

This is the new VCU QA site (you know, just in case the link didn’t tell ya that) which has been moved from the infantile one made on tumblr due to the fact that while ultimate customability is nice, it’s rather confusing to me as I don’t know very much HTML. So…wordpress it is! =D

To the left here is where you can always find out where the meeting for the week is as well as (hopefully) what we’ll be doing. *points at left column*

And to the right you can click on the Announcements page and figure out if we’re doing anything worth of announcing. Like the QA logo contest and the Burnside Watstein awards (They really should have practiced saying the name of that a few times. I have yet to see someone who says/remembers it correctly the first try.) and the info for them as I get it. There’ll be other pages added as I get the stuff needed to make them, like the stuff the Literature Committee is working on, etc. *gestures to the right*

I feel like a tour guide. >_>;

I’ll be posting the notes from each meeting as general posts in case you missed the meeting or want to see what we did for any other reason, starting with the last few meetings that I have notes written.
